9 Days til Portland! I can’t believe it. Time flies so fast when you’re old. I’m really excited to go on a trip and see some new scenery. Though the past couple days have been absolutely amazing here. All the trees are budding and the grass is getting green again. I’m just really happy to be able to leave my house to take the pup out wearing flip flops and no jacket.
What is it about warmer weather that makes people crazy? The bar across the street sounded like a really bad frat party last night. Music blaring, people sporadically ‘woooooo’-ing. Who goes to a bar and just woooo’s? If there’s a game on, sure. But in everyday, Monday night going out.. I guess I’m just not a part of the wooo-ing crowd. Maybe I should try to wooo more at bars. It sounded like fun.
Anyway.. well today is a day to catch up on some domestic duties after the really busy week last week. Clean the house, do some laundry all that really fun stuff. But I have all the windows open which makes it a bit better. At least I don’t have to walk down snow covered stairs with my laundry basket. Yea spring!
